About the Role
We are seeking an experienced electrical controls engineer to work in our engineering department designing electrical control systems for industrial machinery. The successful candidate will be required to analyze design requirements, generate schematic diagrams, create bills of material, develop PLC and HMI application software, and verify/validate designs through simulations and testing.

We are seeking an experienced electrical controls engineer to work in our engineering department designing electrical control systems for industrial machinery. The successful candidate will be required to analyze design requirements, generate schematic diagrams, create bills of material, develop PLC and HMI application software, and verify/validate designs through simulations and testing. Commissioning and trouble-shooting of equipment at customer facilities as required.Â

Requirements
Successful candidates must have:Â
BSEE/BSEET
0-5 years' experience
Knowledge of AutoCAD, wiring schematics and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredÂ
Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, HMI, communications (Ethernet, Controlnet) is desirable, but not mandatory
Additional consideration for applicants with NEC,UL, CE and CSA code experience, Wonderware, web-handling, or PID temperature controls experience

This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager.Â
