G-SERIES® Configurable Horizontal

G-SERIES® Configurable Horizontal roll stands are ideal for producing thin gauge sheet, particularly when processing low melt strength resins. The unique geometric arrangement permits the sheet die to be positioned in a close proximity to the primary nip point. This eliminates pre-skinning of the extrudate associated with contacting a chrome roll prior to entering the nip.

Each G-SERIES® roll stand offers all of the patented technology advantages. The expandable frame simplifies the addition of any downstream technology while minimizing operational interruption and re-engineering efforts from weeks to hours. The highlighted features illustrate the unique design elements that have been developed to date-including patented technologies.

Features

Sheet die shown in running position with the die-lip to roll-nip point minimized to aid in thin gauge sheet processing.

Rear positioned hatch-ways offer ease of idler roll access for optional lamination film thread-up.

Full surround safety cage permits open operator access while interlocks assure safe passage into protected areas.

Patented M-ATEX™ (multi-axis thermal expansion) die support features IDST™ (integral die splitting technology) for on-line die cleaning.
