Cantilevered Winders
Common in the industry, the cantilevered winder is used for smaller rolls, typically for sheet widths of 60" and below, with a roll diameter of 40" or less. It is ideal for rolls that are being stored or palleted. It offers a cost-effective approach and ease of use as the shaft does not need to be manually handled/lifted. Rolls are removed with a manual lift cart. This allows winding up to 3 webs for overall sheet widths up to 60" (1525 mm) and roll diameters of 40" (1000 mm) or less.
Supported Cantilevered Winders
Similar to the cantilevered winder, but with an end supported cart design, the supported cantilever winder allows capability to wind widths up to 84" (2130 mm) and diameters up to 48" (1220 mm). The shaft is electronically deflated allowing the roll, which sits directly onto the unload cart, to be pulled away from winding shaft, thereby reducing operator time and involvement.
